i know its not a bmw but come on :P its just unreal

1970 oldsmobile cutlass 442 supercharged

roughly has 600 bhp and 670 p/ torque

should be running low 12's at the pod when he takes it down august hopefully!

dials on outside of the car are oil pressure gauges and its not a chieftan, a chieftan was the base model

Absolutely fantastic motor's. The 442 olds is just unbelievable, supercharged it must be a road rocket. 8)

I'm not 100% sure why the dials are outside, but it is that way with a lot of yank tanks. Just a style thing I would say.

lmao i wondered why he was asking me twice :P, and i dont know why they dials are on the outside lol looks good though, my family love american cars lol my brother got a 2001 chevrolet camaro and my dads got a 1951 ford f100 and a 1970/80 pontiac firebird lol, just me next and i want a dodge coronet ;):P

The gauges are on the outside so you dont have to take your eyes off the road when you're dragging it! You will often find the tach mounted on the bonnet too!

That's an awesome bit of kit, I'd love a big old yank that'll really lift it's skirt.

You want to get to York dragway with it. There are usually about 40 cars running in the American Superstock series there. Stuff from 17 second sluggers to stuff running 9's, all on the streetable too.
