Worked planed: Sports recaro interior, alloy whells, lowered 40mm, mtech1 steringweel, black headlights, all red rear lights, black grill, all exterior plastic trim resprayed in mat black, passanger side wing

Nice - long live the 323 chromie
Any plans for the engine - I find my 323 a little bit underpowered and have been contemplating some upgrades but still keeping the original engine

Looks a tidy motor. :thumb: You need to push your handbrake handle sleeve down a bit.

Have you still got the parcel shelf? May be interested.....

looking good Andy, Rather than respray the exterior plastics soak them all in autoglym Vynal and rubber care, just soak them all in it, makes them look like new again. I would keep the chrome kidney grill too, black ones look a bit naff on chrome bumperd cars

you certainly got a good buy with that car :thumb:

I went to see a set of bbs and they were crap in preaty bad condition, so i spotted this wheels on a MKII golf gti, decided to buy them, 17`` with tyres and locking bolts and keys. Maybe not everyones cup of tea but i definatly prefer theese comparing to the botletops. Next stage i need to lower it( it looks like is on high heels), The car came with a set of 40mm adjustable coilcovers unfortunatly on the spax website the springs are listed for a 316/318. What should i do fitt them on or sell them and get a set of spring for a 325?

Oh dear.. It started so well. Shame.

Would have been better off lowering on the bottle tops, instead of 'different' 17's with undersized tyres..

I liked the bottletops better too :(

if you like them though.... needs the correct tyres on them though

prehaps some sort of 16" hartge or alpina alloys would look the nuts on this winkeye

I think everyone prefers the bottle tops now though.. :P

On a tight budget I would have dropped it, rather than the wheels

Nasty wheels. You have quite a rare car there, hardly any 323i's left. Needs to be OEM'd.

You need to put some 6 pot springs on it.

I can't remember if the 323's have the 51mm front struts or not though

40-50mm drop. Any good quality springs will do eibach, H&R or KW are all good. Replace the shocks with good quality items, while your at it replace as many bushes as you can afford. With some 15" BBS wheels it will look the dogs.

Must say youve done a good job of cleaning the inside out..

Should be a beuty when done! keep it up. :D
