Nice car,
I'd have to "have a word" with the "mechanic" (used loosly that word), who'd looked after the car for 7 years and not addressed the
cracked intake boot
cracked idle control valve hose
cracked valve cover to throttle body hose
misc wires unplugged and in a mess
overall pretty dirty
misc wiring in the battery tray
valve cover gasket leaking on to heat shields
sloppy shift linkage
fluctuating gas gauge
sticky passenger seat belt buckle
engine ground strap
Good work completed though.

I don’t won’t take my car to him.
In fact, I do all my own work.
Thanks I appreciate it.
Thanks I have only seen that splitter twice before and both owners could not give me information on where to purchase it.m_jermyn wrote:Got your message mate and I have never seen a front splitter like that before but I do like it.... Good luck mate and tip top car you have..

I swapped out the old rubber fuel lines.
I had to special order the charcoal canister to the metal fuel lines from the dealer and it has not arrived.
Old lines
non oem fuel line on the feed for the fuel rail

where they are mounted directly underneath the brake booster

remove the lines

old lines cut the new ones to the same length

70 dollars worth of fuel lines and one vacuum line from the dealer

all new bmw hose clamps. You don't want generic ones to chafe and tear your fuel lines

all wrapped up

I also wanted to replace the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator to the intake manifold.
It wasn't making a good seal and I hate the way it looks when it just hangs there.

It paid itself off with in the first month by buying parts at the dealer and getting 10% off.

All the invoices and receipts from the previous owner and I have been organized by date and by shop.
I purchased sheet protectors and have all of my invoices in the binder.

Went over to the dealership to pick up a special ordered part.
Irvine Bmw
front row parking
yes the car is dirty

Hose that goes from the charcoal canister to the metal fuel line that is underneath the brake booster.

well here we go.
got rid of the old relays, they are 20 years old and its just a maintenance item.
also replaced one of the engine temp sensor. ( blue sensor)
I also want to welcome Rob from UUC to r3v

I picked up a UUC clutch line and a lanyard.
