I picked up my new weapon last week :)

It's a 1989 E30 M3 215bhp in Diamond Black 8)

I'll let the pics do the talking -

Original and unmolested S14 -

I'm not keen on the wheels but they do grow on you after a while, I was lucky enough to win a set of 16" BBS Evo alloys for it, being picked up on Monday and will be refurbed by the end of the week with new rubber on 8)

The exhaust was a bit ropey in places and having hit every speed bump in the area I needed a new one, with a stroke of luck on the E30Zone a nearly new Milltek stainless steel came up for grabs, I tip toed over on Wed and it was put on Thurs morn -

A new Becker head unit was also purchased :P

Up to now I love it, it's had the exhaust done, alloys bought and now waiting on the interior, pretty good I think.

A big thanks to Gareth (gazm3), Oliver (-ollie-) and Pete (sweep) thanks guys

SwitSwew!

Loving those Recaros.

Well done! Great purchase.

And Sweep (Pete) looks after mine too. He cherishes it just as much as I do.

Yeah Pete put the exhaust on

I've always wanted an M3 before I was 25 and never did it, I then set my self a goal to have one before I was 30 and sadly failed :(

I decided after finishing the sport or getting it to a finished standard that I liked, it had to end. I wanted an E60 535d and was put off with the deprecaition, I thought sod it, I'll buy an M3 and play :P :P

My collection stands at the minute like this -

I think a Yorkshire /Lancashire meet should be organised !
there's a LOT of very nice/special E30's lurking around these parts !
Falkster wrote:Steve why don't you get that one off Olli??
it has crossed my mind several times! I have access to an S14 too, but sadly I have way too many things going on at the minute without another car !

Very nice. Wheels are nasty though. How does it compare to the 325i?

I must admit the 325i is a lot smoother and refined.

The M3 is brutal and needs to be spanked to 6k + to feel it, I'm more than happy tip toeing around normally and enjoying it 8)

not seen anything about that ? isn't ladybower near the snake pass?

me thinks the car park at the very top of snake pass/holme moss would be a good meeting place, it's just above the pic taken here,
