Pretty sure there was, look an US ebay.

E34 ones have been fitted and are better as they are individual ones, rather than being one big one that gets in the way.

Anyway if you want a centre armrest you should be driving a Merc! 8O

There was the option af a centre armrest on the E30. It screwed to the centre console and slid on runners backwards and forwards. I'v eonly ever seen one and remember thinking it looked like cheap add-on cack.

I just don't understand why people want them! I heard they get in the way of gearchanges, so it sounds like a auto only think. Merc drivers!

Check out this one from the German Company "Kamei":

https://p15156049.pureserver.info/bilde ... _468px.jpg

I bought one through their UK distributor for about Ԛ£80.
It is secured by the rear securing bolts of the front seats and you dont need to go drilling your console. The thing slides forward & back so i does not interfere with gear changes. You can pull it forward for motorway cruising if you want. The cover lifts - it has an integrated box and coin holder and you can agjust the tilt angle so it doesn't have to be exactly horizontal.

UK Suppliers are :

This is actually a piture of the armrest I've got, described in my last post

http://www.kamei-online.co.uk/autoextra ... x_01MP.jpg

Not sure about the rounded one pictured in my last post, looks bulky and less adjustable.

ive got one of those bmw ones. When i fitted it it did get in the way even when fully back so i modified it to sit lower and go further back. Its spot on now.In place when you slide it forward and out the way when back.
you get a lovely bmw cup with it also!
