Hi all,

I need to raise my motor slightly due sump to road clearance issues and thourght it would be an opputunity to upgrade.

Could I please have some pics of your installs, I have searched but the image links are no longer active on the old threads.

Am I right in thinking its a case of sticking the relevant number of pucks together , drilling a hole through the centre and maybe turn the outer diameter down if required ?

Cheers

We need to replace the engine mounts before the next race at Brands in early May so any thoughts would be appreciated on types of mounts available.

Thanks

Can you raise the gearbox by a similar amount as what you are hoping to achieve with the motor.

Also, how are you going to maintain the correct line up of the prop between the gearbox and the diff?

I had 2 and a half puck glued with superglue, a 3mm Stainless steel disk on the top and 2x 3mm Stainless steel disk at the bottom (wasn't sure about the total height, so left the option of removing one disk) drilled a 10.5mm hole all the way through and double nuts on top of a M10 x110 mm long screw.
All with S14 engine, can't tell for other engines. Total height 74mm

you can also use the RS2000 race spec engine mounts from Rally Design which are much stronger than standard and raise the engine a few mm IIRC
