As a bit of an impulse buy, i bought an adjustable fuel pressure regulator from a guy on the forum a few weeks back, but i haven't fitted it yet. It only has a screw to adjust the pressure - no guage or anything to tell you what the pressure is.

So, the question is, how do i set it up properly? Is it just a case of fitting it then turning the screw a little this way or that way to see how it affects driving, or is there a more technical way to get it right?

Should really fit a pressure gauge, but really there's not much point. The ECU's expecting a certain fuel pressure. If you change it, you'll under or over fuel everywhere.

Dont bother fitting it. As Turbo correctly says, youll just alter the fuel delivery.

its only useful when your mapping a car. Even cars with MAF conversions dont really require any higher than 3 bar.

Oh well, you live and learn. I'll leave it on my desk as a paper-weight then!
