the TS1 used to wear incredibly fast on the outer edge, now the new tr1 has a re enfored outer lip to cope with it, they are cracking tyres had the ts before real sticky, now got the tr and I havent had a bad move yet. excellant tyres go for it.

the t1-r replaced the t1-s, so if someones selling the t1-s its old stock, excellent tyres wear out quick but great grip .

the later ones (t1r) have a lot more rubber around the outer edge. (like a solid rim) where the earliers ones (t1s) have the funky grooves running right to the edge... they look better but wear quicker. i also suspect the t1s will be a lot better in the wet

t1-rԚ´s are great
my friend has them on his turbo 325i, he can launch from 4000rpmԚ´s with these, regular tires would spin out of control.
He has trouble getting the backend loose(245/35)
With great challenges comes great engineering.

i had t1s... great tyres

now run t1r... but a noticing a slight wallowing.... awesome in the wet too....

still seem to be rubbing the shoulder on the front though... and thats with increased camber and castor also

great but i think the sidewalls could be stiffer!

falken fk 451 (i think thats what they are).. just put these on my mums e46 and they seems much stiffer and are renowned for great feel so if u sacrifice a bit of grip this may be worth it
