I want to keep my newly refurbed wheels as minty as possible for as long as possible.
What products do you detailers recommend?
Are there products that wash brake dust off which aren't harmful to the wheels in the long term? I'm not too happy about using Wonder Wheels and the like regularly, I'm concerned about what effect they will have on the finish of the wheels over time.
I don't want to be taking all four wheels off the car every week to clean them, but as the car is my daily, the fronts especially get dirty fairly quickly. I've seen some stuff that I can't remember the name of which claims that when applied to clean wheels to makes them easier to clean when they get dusty, but you have to reapply it every time the wheels get wet - ie rained on.
Is there anything similar which doesn't have to be reapplied?
Am I asking too much???
TIA
Stuart.

Try nanolex wheel sealant. then decent car shampoo to wash the wheels after.

Any idea where I can get this then? The muppet in Halfrauds said he's never heard of it....... Needs to be localish as I need to get the wheels on the car by Friday at the latest (away on holiday 1st thing Saturday).
If I cant get it that quick, I'll have to go for the Turtle stuff and hope for the best.
