Hi,
I have just bought myself a standard 1992 325iC which has some horrible economy tyres on its rather nice BBS alloys.
I wasn't sure where this thread should go s thought I should start in general chat.
I'm looking for a good quality standard replacement 205/55 x15 (V) but was hoping that you had all had some experience of the best buys or even the ones to avoid, most manufacturers have a tyre available in that size and Avon, Goodyear, Continental and Pirelli are quoted at about Ԛ£65-70 inc.
Any help in choosing would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Darren.
Tyres for a standard 325iC

Hi there ... first welcome to the zone !!
I have just bought Dunlop Sport SP3000 for my cab .... pleased with them so far but we haven't had any rain recently .. so can't comment on that .
It is a "hot" topic on the zone .... lots of the zoners have Toyo tyres and are pleased with them ... if you have the money then Goodyear Eagle F1 are probably the best tyre around.
Also depends what you are using them for ...

Thanks for the reply, just regular road use, I am just aware that there are sometimes tyres that just work better on certain cars.
Most of them seem to be around the same price so it seems best to get a few opinions before diving in.
Thanks,
Darren.
