Very nice - but nice is the enemy of awesome and that would be awesome with Alpinas on.
Or at least put BMW badges back on the centre caps.

I wonder when the buble went in this car.bss325i wrote:
You complete grey bubble leather Motorsport cab trim (which is totaly wrong for your car) in nice condition is worth a fair bit and would certainly give you enough £ to buy another normal leather trim for your cabrio, or a big chunk of £ towards a top quality retrim.
Do you have the original spec sheet to find out what was in it when it was ordered new?

The bubble is not what this car came with, i believe it came with tan originaly.
I seem to remember that you could get e30 alpinas with the tech 2 kit when i was a young lad!!!!. But the previous owner had spent a lot of money on this car and the bubble and kit were some of the things that were added.. i know we all love a factory standard car, as i do, some of you may remember my sebring grey motorsport with 69k miles and fullbmw service history...it was minty and original.Which i was never gonna sell....
But let me warn you, my fellow zoners ....... idle surfing on the net looking at what is for sale in the car section.....can seriously damage your bank balance!!!!!...
cause when i saw this motor i couldnt sleep anymore!!!!....
until......she was mine!!. which i geuss is a bit sad but im a sucker for a rare and pretty looking mistress..
aint we all???

Well said mate. Now that you've told us its not a factory fitted tech 2 kit, etc model. Personally i'd say leave it as it is.jotz wrote:The bubble is not what this car came with, i believe it came with tan originaly.

Whenever i make a replica on any car, my aim is to make it better than the real thing. Everyone has different tastes. I think the car looks spot on as it is, and wouldn't bother changing anything.

your missing the Anus blue one that a certain zoner used to have !bss325i wrote:C2 2.7 cabrios are quite rare. A member on here called Roddez has a cirrius blue chrome bumpered one.
I know of a lachs silver with red leather one in Croydon which is the original press car and the first ever Alpina convertible made in either LHD or RHD! I have tried to buy it a couple of times but he's reluctant to let it go! It just sits on his drive under a tarpaulin!![]()
The was also a white one with chrome bumpers for sale recently, that was in Epsom.

As for trim, any original E30 leather trim is very hard to find now in nice presentable condition so its a case of watching and waiting. Other than that, a high quality retrim done to look as close to OEM as possible is the only other option.

By the way, if you need any info on E30 Alpina stuff, drop me a PM as i have alot of info on them.
