Very Nice!

Always liked this car...i enquired about it years ago when Munich legends had it for sale.
I'm a big fan of bubble leather when its in good condition like that...

My C2 was sold with 16" colour coded BBS RS's and would have looked similar to that, wish it still had them now! They set it off nicely!

thanx for comments.

I do have the original alpina wheels for the car and only just took them off.
I did expect to be advised that oem is best and i do agree, but although i would never mess this car up by adding patern parts etc.... i feel a set of wheels is a personal choice which, in this case, i thought added to the overall look..

I would consider changing the interior and sell mine, but it would have to be very nice trim.. whats about at the mo??

:)

ps . anyone know how many C2 2.7 cabs we got on here?

C2 2.7 cabrios are quite rare. A member on here called Roddez has a cirrius blue chrome bumpered one.

I know of a lachs silver with red leather one in Croydon which is the original press car and the first ever Alpina convertible made in either LHD or RHD! I have tried to buy it a couple of times but he's reluctant to let it go! It just sits on his drive under a tarpaulin! :(

The was also a white one with chrome bumpers for sale recently, that was in Epsom.

As for trim, any original E30 leather trim is very hard to find now in nice presentable condition so its a case of watching and waiting. Other than that, a high quality retrim done to look as close to OEM as possible is the only other option.

You complete grey bubble leather Motorsport cab trim (which is totaly wrong for your car) in nice condition is worth a fair bit and would certainly give you enough £ to buy another normal leather trim for your cabrio, or a big chunk of £ towards a top quality retrim.

By the way, if you need any info on E30 Alpina stuff, drop me a PM as i have alot of info on them.

thanks chaps..
will keep in mind bss325.

think the way to go would be retrim... unless something very good turns up.

Kinda like the 325 sport front seats with vertical stitching.. i do also like the green/blue alpina strip, but not sure what interior is correct for this car....

Only cloth seats in Cabrios had vertical stitch.

Leather trim was always horizontal stitch with stitched seams not piped like in saloons and tourings.
