M52 lambda position?

Where abouts do the two lambdas go on the m52b28? The go in two different places down the exhaust iirc but i can't remember whereabouts :o:

Well Paul the lambda on your car currently is located in the centre box online with the gearbox.
Would be handy if we could keep this location to save work and mount the new one in proximy to it?
Lets see what others suggest first obviously :D

I thought the position was different when using an e30 exhaust lee and not in the stock locations?

i think m52s have two lambdas . m50s only have one

tony i think you will need both lambdas as one is for cly 1 to 3 and the other is for 4 to 6 so you wont be able to keep them by the centre box . i think one needs to be in each half of the manifold

Im aware we`ve got too fit both lambdas.
His current lambda is in the pipe closest to the gearbox halfway between the manifold and centre box,not in the centre box itself :wink:

My 2 lambdas are mounted quite far down the primary pipes near the gearbox bell housing on the S50 manifold

If you could live without your car/manifolds for a week or so I could give yours to Chris along with the other M52 ones and get him to mandrel bend/tig up a set at work using yours as a jig :P
