are they RWD?

lol

theyre quicker than a 325i, or an early m3 come to that.
oh and on a wet road will easily leave either behind.

but no they arent rwd. :P :P :P
so whilst quicker they may not be as much fun.
tho thats subjective

anyways i tried to put it back on topic.
oops!!

Yeah sorry guys! and they aint as much fun to drive as the E30!! think i might start waving and pulling faces at any E30 see how long it takes for me to get an ASBO or something similar!!

i've found that having something slightly eyecatching will help get a wave. if you have a standard looking E30 it'll not get a glance and you're unlikely to get a wave, if like me it's low and has a black grille it looks a bit different and an enthusiast will be checking it out!

i've found the following:

Old fords... (owned mk1 and mk2 escorets and 105E anglia)... they all wave like total idiots and stop for a chat.

VW's... owned a scirocco and everyone waves! through splitty campers to new beetle owners! (as long as they're tweaked)

205 GTi's... thay'll mostly give a wave but often ony spot it's a gti as you're aloingside so are usually waving out of the window as you part!!!

E21's... ALWAYS get a wave, also from anything else really old (inc 635's, E28's, 2002s etc)

So looks like general opinions is no.

I know peeps think they may be common but I think I can spot a nice one from a standard, hell even mine is standard as an iS but they are still the nuts!

Boll*cks to it though, when I see a nice one I'm still gonna smile and wave like a lunatic, so if anyone cruising round Somerset sees a red iS with the driver grinning like an idiot and waving its me, give the bird (girlfriend or the finger!),wave back or whatever and if you ignore me I guess you thats up to you.

assuming u mean e36 i beg to differ.

id love an e36 M3 in black, genuine 18" alpinas, clear indicators all round, lowered but not slammed.

its not as stunning as an e30 m3, but its easily as good looking as say an e30 with mtech kit.
