Greetings E30zone. Finally able to get on this forum as I have been itching to join and while watching Discovery HD saw E30 Touring and it mentioned site on Wheeler Dealers. For whatever reason my IP is not liked on my home network. Never even been on the forum and it works everywhere else. My phone's 3G works :) Glad to be here and all the cars look great!

Here is my current 'project'. 1988 325iS 5sp. Working on M52 OBD1 swap. While doing that many other things are going on! Will let the pics do the talking. I am not removing/swapping the big US bumpers. The 88 model year in the US is a bit of a hybrid as it has the huge bumpers but late model front and rear valance.

Here she is right before the motor was yanked:

Yeah, love the interior - it looks factory since it is done the same throughout but is it?

The red seats are amazing. Love the big bumpers as well. How easily available are they over here?

Thanks guys for all the compliments! Really happy to hear other e30 owners like it. The bumpers are EASY to get here in the states as all 84-88 vehicles had them.

Only the 1988 model had the late model valance front/rear with the big bumpers. Then late models, 89-93, had the same plastic bumpers that were made available world wide. We did not get the classy looking small chrome bumpers here in the states. My good friend has a 1987 325iC that is a german car and it has the small chrome bumpers.

WOrking on the rest of the car now. Motor and ZF trans. Then small aesthetic changes like MTech 1 spoiler which I hope to find on here. Then Ground Controls. Will be great I think!

Glad you like the plate. My big Jeep has "E30 LOL" on it... rofl
