By droopy do you mean larger? They've been more that hsape for a while.

But the X1 would look shite regardless of the grille shape! New 7 looks good now!

I was looking at the brochure for that horible thing the other day. It just reminds me of an oversized toyota prius. Even with all its gadgets and leather i really hate it!

Saw one of those on the roads the other day. Was sick a little in my mouth. Made me want to go and punch Mr Bangle very hard, to knock some sense into him...

The current crop are not penned by a design team lead by Bangle but instead buy his replacement Adrian van Hooydonk.

I'm not a big fan of a lot of their newer designs, but I think that the new Z4 is one of the best looking BMWs in a long time.

Personally, I prefered the older hardtop Z4.

You just know that as a German hard top folding roof it will leak like a sieve! SL's do, SLK's do, VW Eos's do.

Any convertable you buy should be a fabric roof.

And heesh from Holland, yesh?

I thinksh heesh been shmoking some strangshe sheet.

The 5GT is an utter abortion, as is the X1. What were they thinking??

The current Z4 isn't as good as the old one and looks like a Dog taking a sh*t.
The new 5 is very good though as is the E70 X5 and the 3 Series Coupe. The balance between nice stuff and utter toss is about 70/30 at the mo. Merc are turning out some munters as well!

E93 convertibles dont realy suffer from water ingress.

Now that is so very, very wrong. I know, we'll buy the iconic mini brand and turn it into some podgy ugly version of a corsa!

Genius!

Patience me old fruit  Their time will come. I guess you are supposed to lube up the rubbers on a service so they "swell" a bit. In due course, they will get convered in rubbish and dry out and then it will begin. Current "fix" for Eos is to replace EVERY seal with a later "modified" part

Most are still in Warranty. First one that's not will be interesting "dear sir, you need £2000 worth of parts and labour to cure it" 8O

A bit like the guy who's X5's panoramic sliding glass roof had a mechanical failiure.

£2000+labour thanks!

4 injectors on a E92 320d, £1300+ VAT. Once these turds get old and loose value they will just get scrapped because of unecomonical repairs.

I like the new e-class coupe though. reminds me of the old W124.

  Would rather have this then a E92.
