Front wishbones !!!

Hi Guys , not been on for a long time , but have some questions that i hope some you can answer. ?

I need to change my wishbones on my other car BMW e36 compact !! , (sorry boys but its my daily driver!! ) Are the E30 wishbones the same as the E36?? . Also i have a spare set and was wondering if you could buy the Lemforder ball joints as a kit to press into the wishbone. I previously have pressed out the old ball joints on my spare set on our 20 ton press at work

Can anyone answer this before i get under both my cars and start measuring balljoints!!

As far as I am aware,e30/E36 wishbones,ball joints are the same
However,internet folklore claims that E36 items are of inferior quality

they are the same the E36 ones are crap they have plastic around the ball joint that fails. The E30 items dont have this plastic around them and are a straight swap. Plus ive used these on the compact i have.

Thanks for the reply's , good as i can get a set of lemforder ball joints for the e30 and push them in my spare wishbones. The E36 ones are crap. I eplaced the wishbones last year at MOT time and 7000 miles later rear lollipops are destroyed and ball joints knocking like a woodpecker. Defo need to buy quality parts!!
