You need a stonechip gun with a compressor to get the right course finish and then satin black to give it the right shade as stonechip is a very matt dark grey/black.

The stone chip in the aerosol cans does'nt really give the right finish.A stone chip gun is not expensive to buy anyway - maybe £15 as long as you have a compressor so you can work it.

I need to do this on the cabby but only on the sill lip where the underseal is peeling.

satin black aerosol is what you want

i made sure the sills were clean and used a fine wet and dry to clean them all up, then used satin black aerosol

Blitz Rub the flakey underseal off and use stone chip sheild to spray where you have rubed away, then paint the sills with satin black aerosol. thats what i will do when i spray the sills on the cabby as there is a flakey bit on mine too
