Unfortunately, im a Roadie and would be looking to work with a company who has roods in road racing.

Scott the best thing is you've realised its not what you want to do and have plans to do something about it!
I did way too much chemistry before realising it wasnt for me

Dumb mode on here, but whats the ecu your after here? I know nothing of these things, is it the chip the you'd upgrade eg with a zone chip? If so I have a std '89 325i chip here you can have :stupid:

On another note, how many MTB folks do we have here? There are some real nice forest trails near Bracknell (just down the road from Simon13) maybe we could have a mini e30/MTB meet sometime?
Cheers,
Robin

Scott's after the bit that the chip goes in (I think!)...

& I'm another of the 'MTB folk'! Although my bike's been wearing slicks for a while now :?

Lordschleife, the ECU is the entire unit that a Zone chip would sit in. They are located underneath the headlight and foglight bottons/switches. They are silver boxes 8x5" in size. my 325 uses a bosch coded "071" ECU (The last 3 digits are 071)

Ian, you are a star!!! i cant read the PM u sent me, so can you please email me at rideordiebuzz@aol.com ?
I will post the cheque today if you let me know how much for. (maybe that was in the PM that i cant open)

Matt, whats the difference between the ETK, TIS and KSD?

Hi Scott, ETK is the parts catalogue, TIS is the technical information System, and KSD is the customer service desk.
