There has been a BIG box at work for 2 or 3 days and i have just walked past it. Till today.

i was quite happy with it too to be honest
the E36 output bearing retaining plate jobbiesâ„¢ came out ok didn't they
if you are being properly tarty (as if...) lob some oil over the output bearing retaining plate jobbieâ„¢ bolts and the shims as they're not painted or plated...

oh, all diffs i do look like that inside - they need to be practially sterile to prevent damage to the bearings from grit etc. i get off my tits on solvent in the garage most evenings
oh the bolts i meant were the 13mm (M8 ) ones on the sides, behind the output flanges. they're black oiled, not plated. i think the little 10mm head (M6) ones are actually zinc plated - though they rust more than any others on these diffs so maybe not?
i am in no position to criticise your tasteful yellow bush as mine has exactly the same one on it
