well after much thinking i've agreed to let it go. it's an open ended deal that allows me to keep it until i get my replacement sorted out. (he wants it that much.....) and the replacement is....????

well those of you that know me know it will have to be pretty clean with a little ice in it. so i'm on the lookout for an m-tech 1 sport or an m-tech 1 alpina. ideally a bit of a project so i can get it as i want it, but i'm not intending to mod it this time like my current one.

so what do you think? good decision?

cheers for the encouragment guys that's nice to read. although i like tech 2 sports the tech 1 is better looking for my money. someone at the croydon meet had a silver tech 1 alpina and that sealed it for me then - especially when he gave it some beans on the way to the petrol station... nickp had a big influence too - letting me drive his 2.7 before he sold it. i was on the way towards a 2.7 for mine but the lure of the early sport is too much. it wil take some time to find a tech 1 let alone get it up to my standards.

mine is not going very far from me either...... i'm sure it will stay connected to the zone and appear at a few meets.
