I'm thinking it's a 2.0 as they are narrower, but the angle of the pic makes it a little difficult to be sure. Mine is a 2.5 one and my TB looks much bigger than yours

What lump is that manifold on then?

guys, My ride originally an E30 320i,

reacently I changed the engine block (lump) to 325i and the rest all still remain 320i

today I went to a chop shop in search of a 325i Inlet manifold, they told me after looking at my engine bay, my current Inlet manifold is 325i .. and defninitely 320i Inlet manifolds are very different as they have lots of pipes running left and right.

What I wanted is a 325i Inlet Manifold so that I can do BBTB.

Now that you guys tell me this is 320i and the chop shop fellows telling me 325i .. Now I am confused.

here I the photo from another angle

The 2.5 and 2.0 are the same shape, look the same, but the internal sizes are different and the 2.5 manifold is more curvy too. You have a 2.0ltre one, probably becasue you had a 2.0ltre before, hence unless you have bought another since, it's still the 2.0ltr one.

I suggest you check the for sale section or post in the wanted section, there are plenty of 2.5 inlet manifolds around.

You should feel the difference when you fit it too

Ah only now some one tell me, the Inlet Manifold of 2 and 2.5 looks the same

thanks dude ..

Just one question, can I fix a 2.5 Inlet Manifold from a Left Hand Drice Car to a Right Hand Drive ?

and my next question, by using the AFM that came with 320i , will there be any problem in the 325i Inlet Manifold. This question might sound dumb but I dont want to take any chance.

cheers

Why dont you try and find the part number on the manifold and ring a BMW dealer Parts Dept, and ask them to check the number?

This zone is the source of all E30 knowledge (unlike the US orientated Yahoo E30 group). Ignore all others.

Yours certainly looks loike a 320 manifold. The kink in the no 1 runner is the give away. More of a smoother curve on the 325. 320 injectors are different than 325 ones as well.
Would be very surprised if there are any problems with a LHD manifold.
The 320i throttle body will strangle your 325 engine.

Hi Brian Moore that quote is good enough. I have found 325 Inlet Manifold complete set with throttle body and Injectors. Will be fixing soon

I was just wondering, should I really make it a BBTB? is the bang worth the buck?

Thanks M8
