e30 ski hatch

i have just found in my garage a few spare e30 bits i totally forgot i had,
i showed a mate of mine this thing that sits in between the rear seat in the armrest bit (when armrest is down) so you can put long objects through from the boot into the car.
he said straight away that its a ski hatch, and its rare..
is this true? anyone know a rough estimate of what is worth?
