Gathering bits?
Gathering bits?
As much as it pains me to say, i have sold the chomie!
I had started to collect parts to do it and i had a complete donor car and various other parts sorted and even alocated some ramp time up at A tech to crack it out in a couple of days but after writing off my daily compact i needed to sort something else out.
That and the fact i was struggling to find the time to do work on it or my sport made me decide to concentrate my E30 efforts on the Sport which still needs a long list of work doing before the show season (i have a big pile of parts in my spare room waiting to go on and an interior almost ready to pick up).
I decided to buy something i can use every day and do some track work when the need arises like the Ring this year and it had to be something that wouldn't be a travesty if it got binned (would be a shame to trash a chromie as clean as the 316) so i settled on the ubiquitous E36 328i. Reasonable econ, decent pace and a good chassis for track work.
I settled for coupe flavor.
Oh, and the 316 went to another zoner who im sure will look after it, didnt want to let it go but i've got to be sensible......
..sometimes!

Dan speaks no truer words.
work, houses, kids and invalid wives (in my case) do not go in hand with stripped e30's in any shape or form.
I havn't seen my e30 for weeks. It's march, i should now be polishing it ready to enjoy it's freshly rebuild back end this summer.
But no
With no break in the current future to address the situation either
