I got myself a second-hand extinguisher which is full and un-used. Chances are it's never been used, so what are the chances of it working?

Can they just be refilled like a regular extinguisher?

Do they only work once or can you give it a test?

Stops when you release the handle.

And of course the next question is how can I best attach it to the seat?! Obviously it's the 2 holes at the front and 2 at each end but there's no way of getting a nut on any bolt that I use. Am I missing some sort of fancy fixings?

My Dad runs a fire extinguisher company, i wouldnt test it I was always told
(depending on the sort) over time it can loose its pressure. This is because the original 'seal' has been broken. Extinguishers were designed to work once not to be used a little then to seal 100% again.

I was thinking of offering a group buy for extinguishers on here, if you have any queries im sure i can help.

I'm well aware of that. The extinguisher wasn't one I was going to use for any serious purpose.

:x I don't have any bolts the right size to fix this stupid thing! Plus it's just dawned on me that the adjustable thigh support on the seat won't work with the extinguisher in place. I'm rapidly going off this idea.
