depends on the look of your car IMO - if it's track inspired then could look good, if it's a slammed tin top/tourer or cabbie, probably not - your car, your choice though mate - think they are a bit 90s rice style though
i don't mind them when theyre flat, wipers are messy ugly things, one less is a good think imho.
i think they look retarded when stuck upright or at a jaunty angle on the screen when parked.

well my one came with the car, and i hate it, only reason cos it doesnt clean the windscreen properly..... as when your driving at speed, the wiper keeps moving up slowly slowly by itself, and the water gets blown upwards everytime you try cleaning it which gets quite annoying when driving and trying to concentrate on the road....
so quite pointless imo!!!

I have it on my car as you would probably imagine, but unlike yours i have never had a probs with mine not pushing water enough or anything else like that. It just goes well with the mad styling of mine. I defo like itSHAKEELE30 wrote:well my one came with the car, and i hate it, only reason cos it doesnt clean the windscreen properly..... as when your driving at speed, the wiper keeps moving up slowly slowly by itself, and the water gets blown upwards everytime you try cleaning it which gets quite annoying when driving and trying to concentrate on the road....

I was going to say it is particularly pointless and council, but my friend Ben said it for me !
PS brand new in the box Bonrath 'badboy' single wiper conversion, instant council, £250
i've got it on my cabbie, i personally really like it, the wiper does sit right in the middle of the windscreen which is a bit weird at first, but i think it helps with the look of the car, doesn't effect how the wiper clears water in any way can't really tell much difference in comparison to having two wipers.

Depends on what wiper blades you got on there too, i've found Bosch ones wit the little spoiler stay fixed to the screen firm, even at stupid speeds.SHAKEELE30 wrote:well my one came with the car, and i hate it, only reason cos it doesnt clean the windscreen properly..... as when your driving at speed, the wiper keeps moving up slowly slowly by itself, and the water gets blown upwards everytime you try cleaning it which gets quite annoying when driving and trying to concentrate on the road....

well when i wipe the screen the water on the screen is wiped to the bottom of the screen, and when you are driving the water then is pushed back up the screen. When wiped again, it does the same again, which annoys me as when you have to wipers, the water is pushed to the side.
I totally agree with this, years ago the company i worked for bought a citroen C15 D van (AX based so single wiper) because he was a tight git but it was borderline dangerous on the motorway in the rain because of the water blowing back up the screenSHAKEELE30 wrote:well when i wipe the screen the water on the screen is wiped to the bottom of the screen, and when you are driving the water then is pushed back up the screen. i have one on my car. no need to buy a kit. if you can weld, the short bar that conects to the motor needs to be 57mm i think. i'll try and dig up a photo. then just remove the driver side wiper part. if you dont want to cut and weld yours then im led to beleive the m3 ones are 57mm.
just to add.. mine sits on the passenger side when parked. if you want them to sit up the center of the screen just unbolt the small bar on the motor and move the wiper to the center then bolt back on. just reverse this process when its mot time.
oh yeah.. i use a euro style blade and it works just as good.

Not really cause mine can be put in the normal position or in the middle, so i can adjust it when it goes for an MOT. To be honest i drive my car so rarely these days i cant even notice it has a single wiper conversion when i doRich_W wrote:Also bear in mind that Bens one is technically a MOT Fail.
Personally, I like them if they sit at the normal angle. Ones for LHD cars are stupidly expensive though!

Long story mate. It was actually meant to show you the pum pum of my female passengers, but i didnt want it displayed on the screen in the front as i would be spotted as a pervert, so i had to have a screen inbetween my legs to watch on the quietMessenjah wrote:off topic ... but ben ...

in 99% of cases.

Well yes, if you adjust it accordingly for the MOT. But any other position than at the bottom of the screen is failed due to "Drivers field of vision" Of course if others have friendly testers that's up to thembootyman wrote:Not really cause mine can be put in the normal position or in the middle, so i can adjust it when it goes for an MOT.
