Yes,I think its bang out of order! ok it was a bit off topic on this thread but why delete the other thread? We have the right to discuss how Bonkers earns his money.. I have negative comments about me on here.. I havn't noticed any mod rushing to brush that under the carpet!

We live on the zone this is his 1st fookin thread!

Earlier I made a joking guesture as to how he earned his money...

It really doesn't matter, and to discuss someones life on a forum is just pathetic. The guy came here to show off his (at first potential) new car/s and share it with other petrolheads. Some people on here are really bloody childish.

I couldn't give a shit who bonkers is, what he does, where he lives or how much he earns. He showed us a PAIR of delivery milage M3 SE's and a enough about himself to assure us that they're gonna be looked after. Let alone an RS200 and a Merc.

Hat's off to the guy. He didn't need to do that and waste his time telling us, but he did.

You wouldn't slag off x-works and his amazing M3 resto because he's more talented, skillful and patient that you.

If we piss off bonkers, then there will more than likely be no more updates. No more M3 twins porn. No more insight into a successful mans car collection...

Unless someone like Jay Leno turns up or something... :P

Couldn't have said it better myself...
As I posted yesterday, it's small-minded rubbish posted by a few idiots that ruin the whole Zone for everyone...

As Bonkers himself has said to me... "I have been a member of the RSOC club for many years and i have never come across such a slagging of this magnitude"

I hope the minority feel proud of themselves. That's at least 2 new members you've got rid of in just a few days... I seriously doubt Bonkers will ever come back - why the f**k should he?

Well said mate, the way some people have acted on this thread has been totally out of order. What the hell has it got to do with us how he earns his money, the fact that he is willing to share what he has with us is all that matters and i for one am glad he has done so.

People in this country seem to try and put down anyone who is doing better than they are out of pure jealousy - its just pathetic!

Rant over :D

Bonkers, There are decent people on this forum, its just a few sad C**ks that have given us a bad name.

Not half as hard as finding them in the first place I imagine, unless you're lucky enough to own it from new.

Looks like this thread is finally fizzling out!! It has been a mad one hasn't it!! Partly driven on by arse kissers, haters and admirers. Shame about the sh1t slinging though which seems to have ended this epic thread.
He has a fine collection of vehicles and is obviously a car enthusiast, wouldn't call him a petrolhead though as he doesn't seem to be driving many of them.
Has made the Zone look like we're mostly c0cks- shame...
Banter is one thing (which I wholeheartedly agree with) but personally I think this went too far...
Oh well bring on the next newcomer with his rare collection and new additions... 8)

so which do you prefer? xworks m3 (when finished) fully restored with blood sweat and tears effectively a brand new vehicle, or one of these unused timewarp vehicles? Im sure xworks will have much more satisfaction getting behind the wheel of his but the thought of a brand new e30 m3 from back in the day is also an appealing one. I would give my right arm for either!

Me too.

If i only had the money to buy 1 it would be X works (if he would sell)

I would love either obviously, but like Dan said you couldnt drive either of Bonkers's M3 finds

The X-Works build is just mental but so is finding the two M3's.
Personally I'd rather have the skill to create than the money to just purchase but that is only my opinion. Don't get me wrong being in either position would be great!! :D

I'd keep the 56km mint, and drive the other.
2 minty low mileage M3s is too much for anyone, surely...

Maybe not (it's open to debate), but it is through collectors such as him that we get shows like 5th Gear being able to do their comparisons of old cars in standard guise.

He allowed Jason Plato to drive his 3 door Sierra Cosworth ~ that's got to worth something! :)

Oh I'm not dis'n him- his private collection is pretty real world kool and yes he is obviously seriously into his cars. Personally I would still prefer a driving collection but that's just me. Seeing Lord Montague driving around his estate on a vehicle older than my GrandParents isn't quite what I mean but you get the gist :D

X-Works for me, Legendary just Legendary but this thread is Epic because of the rare find. Not taking anything away from X-Works but if you have the skill and the patience and dedication to produce that level of resto then you could resurect most vehicles. However there are only so many hyper-low milage forgotten about matching M3 SportEvo's that are there to be found. This kind of E30 find will not be duplicated very often, if ever, on here! Where as there will always be the next mega-talented b*****d who will perform unbelievable restorative techniques and amaze us.
I still prefer the X-Works but have enjoyed the early suspense this thread showed, smiled at the early haters, cringed at the sh1t-slinging but did smile when the 'Twins' finally appeared.
In time people on here will look back and think 'f*ck me that was an epic find- shame it got f**ked up and no more pictures were ever posted...

Usually the way isn't it. The whole get tarnished by the few. It's a shame but don't forget those 'characters' also make this place amusing with the banter. It just got out of hand with this one unfortunately.
The Zone would be a very boring place if inhabited with anal buffers all the time eh Gordon winkeye

Agreed Chris, but there's "characters" and "banter", which everyone enjoys...

... and then there's the minority of total ar5eholes with their sheer bloody-minded, unnecessary and malicious nastiness.

Banter is one thing, when it crosses the line, it's just bloody unpleasant.

Agreed, we all enjoy banter winkeye but yes the maliciousness and hating is an unwelcome aspect attributed to the few.
