I know we shouldn't talk about money, but how much did them 4 set you back, roughly winkeye
The answer to the first question is that i honestly don't know at this stage whether to sell one or not??? i suppose the novelty will wear off and whats the point in having 2 and all that money tied up???? but if i do it will be auctioned at bonhams and advertised internationally

The answer to your second question is alot of dough! i certainly didnt nick the cars the guy i was dealing with was very switched on thats why he's a billionaire!!!

All the best, which ever route you take with them.

Have fun 8)

Nice to clear that one up Barry.

So in actual fact, the trip and odometer in that state even makes the 92 mile car even more authentic!!!

And here was me thinking that would be the obvious choice if I was selling one

If you do decide to sell one, I'd definitely recommend getting a good one with about 100K on it and drive it to lots of meets, shows and do the odd bit of spirited driving and maybe even a VIP trackday every once and a while.

It'll make owning the garage queen even more satisfying in my opinion as you'll know how good a car they are AND you'll still have one thats almost priceless 8)

PS... my mom said I should ask if you have any daughters winkeye

The 51 plate Sport evo that was for sale a few years ago was still on minus 3 miles, or 999997 miles.

No vents (that I can see) on the C-pillars. Maybe it is a Merc...:)

Do they say there are two cars or just one car?

That's pretty cool. As long as there are no details of where the cars are stored (wouldn't want organized crime types involved!) I think he'd get a kick out of people around the world seeing those photos.

especially if he is thinking of selling them :D

I know what id do especialy with all the media coverage...leave it a week or so then get them up forsale in all the right places and turn a big profit.

Would just be a matter of choosing how much you like them compared to how much you like making money winkeye

A nice position to be in.

Im not the expert, but could the engines be f*cked on these.
Surely the lack of liquid movement isn't a good thing.

as long as the engines are recommissioned properly there shouldn't be a problem. as long as they weren't turned over straight away there really shouldn't be an issue. how many ppl on here have found E30's that have done 100k and then been layed up for 10 year or there abouts and fired them up again and not had any problems? id say that could be worse than an engine thats done very little and stored in a dry garage..

obviously his two sons were not E30 fans, if only they knew 8O

they will probably be driving around in some new "high performance vehicle" thinking their dad was mad to buy some old tat from the eighties for them, either that or they`re furious that dad sold the best thing he had ever bought them :D

That would have been the deal of all time. If them for cars were bought for 100k then bonkers is about to become a very rich man. If he wants to sell that is

I would have to agree on the price being higher than 100k.. not sure about the merc's value but the rs200 is got to worth more than 50k and i would value the M3's around the same considering the mileage and history ( or lack of service history!! )

Yeah, definitely in the £150-225k ball park.

£100k @ £25k/car would be the deal of the century.

It is an English collector, he has a collection of Ford RS models. Now the collection has taken a billionaire. 4 vehicles: 2 times M3 E30 SPORT EVO, Ford RS200 and a 190e 2.5 MERC Evo2. Value of these four together at least € 500.000, --

Bonkers, is there any chance you'd be kind enough to give us a list of what cars (and mileages) you have please?

Intrigued by your collection, would love the chance to drool and take some pics... You have some lovely cars, you're a very lucky man.

Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

100k would be a good price just for the RS;

I also seem to think the Mercs tend to fetch more than an equivalent condition E30 M3 SE.

The irony is the M3's are the cheapest and therefore arguably least desirable out of the four!

Irreplacable, pedigree race/rally homologation cars, top of the range too. . . I wouldn't be surprised at £250K +
