1988 316. over the past few weeks my car has started to miss when i accelerate, its fine at full throttle but when i want to go it jerks and then accelerates , also, it does it alot more after a fast run, sitting at 80ish, then last week i looked at the temp guage it was almost on the red (in town), so the bonnet was popped, i got home, put a new thermostat in it but it still reads too hot, i've flushed the coolin system but its still hot, now im stumped so thought i'd ask the wealth of knowledge on here, :D
