never use fairy as its a degreaser! it strips the wax and natural oils out of your paintwork. try something like turtlewax if you want a cheap product, or meguairs if you are feeling flush.

Please dont use fairy..... please!!! :o

oh my god nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

well if u wax your car at all then every time you wash it it is being stripped off by th fairy

do not use sponges they just trap dirt and grit and you end up scratching the paint with what the sponge has trapped

wash with microfibre
dry with microfibre
apply polish with microfibre and remove it with....................microfibre

meguiars do some good car wash gold class etc
i dont use that myself but it is very kind to the paint

using the fairyw/up liquid is part of you water marks problem

wash and dry in shade
only wash one panel at a time then rinse thouroghly
wash next panel then rinse that and rewet previous panel
keep car wet all the time you are washing
when totall washed and car should still be fully wet dry what you can with a water blade then use microfibre towel to dry
meguiars do a good micofibre/waffle weave drying towel

chamois leathers just cause scratches.

i spend about 4 hrs once a month giving the car a thorough clean, then it only takes about 20 mins to wash and leather it. i cant believe people still use fairy!

there are hand car washes dotting up all over the place so use one of those but not a roll over/drive thru thing.
