In my time on here (which isn't that long) I have never see anything like it.
Instant respect from everyone now!

Bought 2 of the best there Is to buy and put them in 'the collection'. You have got to love that.

Bonkers, let me know if you would like a copy of the E30 M3 Homologation papers and I'll hook you up. It might be nice to have them and keep them with the cars.

Holy sweet mother of Mary!

That's a pretty jaw dropping set of pics there and fair play for actually being the real deal. To hear something like this is unbeliveable for most of us on here but to see it is only something you could dream about.

Apologies I've only kept one eye on this thread since it started but what are you going to do with them? I saw you put that they are investments but will one of them be used for shows at all or will you keep them both tucked away in your private collection? Personlly I would love to see a collection like that as I am sure must people on here would. It might be an idea to set a show up of you collection and try and raise some money for charity for admission, I am sure you get a few thousand people turning up to nosey through them. I bet that new car smell is just sublime in those M3's and espcally the RS200! As great as it is to see 2 m3's like this there is a part of me that feels sad that they have never been driven in anger like they were ment too. A BMW and espcally the ones from the 80's and early 90's needed to be driven to keep them alive, BMW's of this time just love to be driven. It is what all unites us on here is the pure pleasure you get from driving these cars in such a way. A BMW engine going at high revs is a growling beast and is so utterly unquie and wonderfull to hear that for me it still make me tingle. I hope that you now start to see what makes this forum a really good place for e30 owners and that you are able to get involed with the social side of things with the meets , shows and the charity events.

Regards Dan :)

Even though I love the m3's and that ultra rare rs200, the black merc evo is my dream car. Im losing my mind with that collection.

Please let me win the lottery this weekend. :notworthy:

nah, he looks like a bit of a homologation junky, so would have to be one of the first 500 integrale evo1s with no sunroof, no abs, and an intercooler waterspray setup in the boot and a set of rear spoiler raiser brackets in the tool kit. and a proper man size turbo.

the evo2 is the one everyone wants, and is a better road car in standard from, but lancia had finished rallying when it was released so amongst enthusiasts it doesnt have quite the same historical significance
cheers,

Is right here :D

Im a doubter till i die cant help that trait although on this occasion ive been well and truely proven wrong so i take my hat of to bonkers and will now eat it aswell

And for the record i am a doubter but never a hater as ive had enough people around here who hate me for the cars ive owned its called jealousy.

Bonkers was telling the truth but there is always plenty of people on forums who lie about such things on a daily basis so you cant blame me and others for doubting.

So sorry bonkers if i offended you :o: if i had them 2 beauties sat in my garage thow i realy wouldnt give a fuck about people doubting as at the end of the day you have had the last laugh in spectacular style.

Bonkers you live in a very different world to everyone else on this forum. To get enough pleasure solely from the knowledge of what you own, and justify investing that capital without ever using them, is something we can't comprehend. You are a very lucky man.

This kind of sums up e30 ownership and owners in that its possible to own an e30 for as little as free and right up to im guessing 40-50k, couple that with the previously stated fact that BMW seem to like keeping their herritage alive and you have massive potential for a fan base hence the popularity of the legendary e30 zone. you just gotta feel the love.

Very cool purchase Bonkers but id still have to pick the high milage one  to run to shows and take for the occasional blast but then you might have so many other things to choose from you dont feel the need.

I very much doubt he really cares what anyone here has to say about it all. :)

Would be nice if he'd bring one to a meet-up or something so people can appreciate them a bit. I don't get the impression he's the kind of guy who thinks common oiks like us should be shot before we get within drooling distance of his garage, so there's hope!! :D

My intial post was of sceptisism but as soon as i realised who bonkers was/is i knew he was not going to be on a wind up, all apparent on the first page of this thread!

If you've read the whole thread then i'm sure you'll have seen that i have backed bonkers from the start.

Going O/T BMW UK have a funny idea about things like that. They had www.bm3w.co.uk renamed (mtorque) then had it shut down for a while. Even though that forums owner never claimed to be affiliated with BMW or even making money from the forum.
