Those wheels look great, especially on that car. Good choice and good taste.

Baz dont slam it to hard unless you really dont like your front valance. Ravenswood is a bitch for speed bumps!! I remember going round there with my dad in his 325i which was 60/40 and every bump we scraped the exhaust. Lucky enough it didnt have a kit.

I don't even know where it is fella..

Mine is low enough that I can no longer even get my jack minus saddle under the chassis rails, yet I can still navigate some hefty speed bumps on the way into work..

If you are going to leave it up high, it needs bigger tyres! I love the wheels, it's a good colour sport, but 4x4 spec ride height with 'euro style' tyre sizing looks daft!

I would go 60/40, or 50/35 in your predicament I reckon..

I think you would be surprised what you can navigate in a very low car, as long as you are careful!

furry muff!! but remember a set of decent springs (eibach/h&r) and a new set of dampers (bilstiens) will cost about the same as a set of basic gaz coilovers! any cheap spring/damper combo will ruin the ride and handling. and if you even think about a hot tunning kit jhonno will come and be sick on you!!

like i have said many times yes i know coilovers are going to have to wait a very long time. so springs are going to have to do for the time being  I have my mot to deal with next and coilovers are to cheap ??

By far your best option is to chuck some 2nd hand springs on there till you can afford something decent.. You can even sell em on after, and get your money back..
