Out of all the M3's out there, its nice there are a few mint examples that don't actually need to be driven to be appreciated. There are other examples out there you could run ragged around a track if that's what you're after.

And the nice chap did say we could see his collection if any of us wanted to. He'll have two cars to show us remember, and perhaps a few more later on, so we should all be hospitable.

Unless of course it's an armanib-type individual and he's taking us for a ride.

right then lets get this straight.

we were told that we would be seeing pic's of said car last friday, then just before the big day we get told that somthing has come up & it will be tuesday (i'm sure of it) before we saw them,

now it's wednesday &so far still no pic's.
am i the only one who is starting to think that this is all one big wind up??

don't get me wrong if it is gen & the pic's show up then fair play to the OP.
but i'm sorry it's starting to get a bit pointless now.

no doubt i'll get my mouth shut when the pic's turn up but in the mean time

Sometime 2 people schedules don't work together or someone has a last min change and can't be somewhere etc etc

How is he to take pics if he hasn't bought the car yet? I didn't read that he bought it, he was offered a car and he posted saying that they seller was busy and therefore there are no pics

i see your point but surely if you were in a postion to buy such a car & post up on here about it you would do your very best to get a few pic's up?

all i was trying to say is it jst seem's a bit dodgy to me thats all.

he says on the rsoc forum that he cant post pics till its in his possesion, why is it so hard to belive that someone who collects cars is buying a sport evo? people wont hear about cars like that because it would only be among the collectors it would be offerd as there would be far too many pricks and tyre kickers wanting to waste time.
to be honest if i were him i wouldnt bother posting anything more on here after all this.
i say fair play and good luck to him.

If he doesn't buy the cars or we never hear from him again, how on earth would that reflect negatively on those who chose not to label this entire thing a hoax? Do any of us win any prizes for not 'believing the hype'? Of course not! For some people, forums play far too large a part in their lives. It's just a car forum, they're only cars.

You're not going to be Knighted by the Queen, win a free holiday or get a tax rebate just for getting the most 'wins' on the internet. We're not going to lose our houses because we've been duped into investing in some pyramid scheme.

Most of us realize all of this, unfortunately some appear not to.

Meanwhile if there are pics, cool...if not, it's no big deal. Stating the bleeding obvious I know, that's all I wanted to say really.

Bloody hell, just spotted this and ready through it - cant believe how may people are slagging the guy off!!

Anyone who can afford that kind of collection will almost certainly have a big salary job which usually involve long hours, so i doubt the 1st thing he does when he gets home from work is jump on a BMW forum to show potless losers like us lot some pics of his new car!!

Give the guy some time - im sure when he has nothing better to do with his time he will drop some pics our way.

I can understand that a Fast Ford collector would be tempted by an E30 M3 but I dont see him having the same attraction to an E34 M5 thats all!

I am sure most of us think for 80's touring car racing when we think of E30 M3's and in bonkers case RS500's. That IMO is the link.

E39 M5's are a nice motor but nothing special IMO. 8)

Jaymos, you do talk dribble some times.

How often do you see an XR3i on the roads these days, how often do you see a mint example?

Then if you ask yourself how many were owned by princes diana then you get an idea of how rear this car is.

Also mk3 xr3 is a cool car!

my mate recently sold his for 500 quid, he had it in storage for 10 years, not a spot rust on it, it was mint. there are quite a few on ebay if you look going for nothing.

all im saying is that he seems to like very low mileage cars and the m5 is low mileage, jesus you lot can cause an argument out of anything winkeye
