This is my first E30 after coming over from Jap turbo power!!!!

It's not nearly finished yet but it's a solid base with only 1 tiny tiny bit of rot.

I'm hoping to get hold of a Tech 2 kit for it and then get it properly tidy and clean by sorting the couple of small car park dings it's got and if funds allow, a full on re-spray in Honda Pirates Black or Fezza Rosso Red.

Gonna add a few shiny bits like carbon front splitter, and some DTM style mirrors get the wheels refurbed with a polished lip and possibly a gold centre but i'm not certain on that yet.

It's already lowered 60mm on H&R springs n' shocks, i've got an HID kit waiting to be put on and a set of eyebrows aswell (i know these are a bit marmite but i think they look ace!) and gonna get up to Janspeed and get an exhaust system ordered to give it a bit more road presence!

Gonna drill the airbox and put in a K&N panel filter to help it breath a bit easier and also replace the sodding AFM with one that actually works! Then perhaps an LSD if i can find one that's good enough but cheap enough!

Sorry, kinda went off on one there!

Let me know what you think of my plans and if there's anything you'd do differently for whatever reason and here's a couple of pics! Nothing special as i haven't had time to get interior pics (which is spotless!) or take it somewhere with a nice view etc...

Also if you can tell me what the wheels are that'd be helpful! I think they're Mim's 1900's but i'm not sure!

If your car is a 318is with the twin cam engine then I'm pretty sure it already has an LSD mate. :)

This was an optional extra for the 318is, and in the uk Extreamly rare

Yeah pretty sure it's not an LSD bud, which LSD's do people tend to upgrade to?

Also does anyone think that it would look ok with just M-Tech bumpers and not skirts or pods or would this look poo?

Cheers for the comments guys :D

I think the only thing you need to do is fit an 'is' lip spoiler and ns fog light.

What you going to do about the wrinkle on the near side rear panel?

I really like the Mims 1900. Nice sized dish. What size tyre wall have you fitted? I have 55's on mine and the osr rubs  http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... highlight=

The correct LSD for an iS is 4.10 I think, but they don't seem to come up for sale very often (I've been looking for a while).

IMO don't bother with the MTech bumbers, just stick an is lip spoiler on it and it'll look 8) .

Thanks again for the comments, reason i was gonna go for a Tech 2 kits was coz the muppet before me has spanked the front bumper (along with the offside and nearside rear quarters!) which is why the fog isn't it as it doesn't sit in the hole for it anymore. So if i get a new front bumper i can have all my lights and i just like the look of the Tech 2.

I'm not sure what to do with the wrinkle, i thought it might pop out but it's too creased for that, i can get it sorted for £200 but i'm not sure how good a job that would be!

The Mims were on there already but i think the tyres are 55 profile. I've not seen another car with them on before! Looking good bud 8)

The Lenso's are nice but i quite like the Mims and might just get 'em refurbed with a polished dish, think it would look ace!

lol nice...

Only thing that i put on is the sunstrip coz the original sun visors are shite. I don't find the rest of it that offensive to bother changing any of it tho.

Yeah the on the original badges the laquer was peeling and looked all skanky so i thought these looked better for the time being. Went to the scrappy to see if they had any badges but nothing!

I've got the fog thanks bud, but just can't put it in as the bumper is all snarled up where it should fit so i can't put it in until i get a new bumper.

I might take the driver's one out so it's symetrical.

Cheers for the comment dude 8)
