Just what the title says really. I recently bought an F reg 325i Touring which has a vibration when braking. I think the disks are a bit thin so am planning to replace the disks and pads at the front. Only thing is i am a bit skint at the moment so i need to find the cheapest place to get them from. I live in Leicester and i know there is a Euro Car Parts nearby but i wondered about buying them online? I will change them myself. Can anyone advise?

Cheers

TBH is is probably Eurocarparts, you can buy online at www.eurocarparts.co.uk and if it over Ԛ£50 they do free delivery, so you don't even have to pay for petrol!

Make sure you get vented ones for a 325i though.

Welcome to the zone by the way!

I bought a pair of ECP's cheap discs. My only comment is "you get what you pay for"!
They've only been on the car for 14 months/16k mikes and they're badly warped - and I'm not hard on brakes!
My suggestion would be to go for the Ԛ£18 ones, not the Ԛ£12 ones.

Thanks for the advice. I agree that you do usually get what you pay for. The parts are a lot cheaper than i anticipated anyway.

Changed mine yesterday. Ԛ£42.32 inc VAT for the discs from ECP. They're ATE Power Discs so they ought to be OK - original equipment quality.
Mind, that isn't always a guarantee........ I had a pad detatch from its backplate last year. They were clearly marked BMW and only half worn. :clin:
