I'm sorry I turned up late, I was hoping to get there for midday and have lunch and a chill out

BUT

I was travelling down the M6 minding my own business whilst looking out for gazm3 hooning up my rear :o: the M6 opened up a bit and Gaz took the lead after a VW Passat acting like a cock pulled over, I dropped a cog and followed suit..............

Speedo reading 115 and fcuking PING, fanbelt snapped, all lights on and temp gauge going into the red 8O

Straight on the hard shoulder and Gaz saved my life with a spare belt, good thinking  AA rescued us on a low loader and took us to the services where a keen patrolman turned up, admired the car and replaced the 2 belts, he thinks the locking nut is loose - a job to do in the week.

A big thanks to Gaz for helping out and staying with us, never met the guy before and he was a gent 8)

So that was the reason we was late :o:

Nice to see some zoners and some nice E30's to boot (not literally  ) I wish I could of met more of you but there's time yet.

Oh and thanks to Steve (lowey) for the caps and we'll swap parts list soon

Sorry I've got no pics either, I had tourettes most of the way after spending an hour with the AA so not in the best of moods

Good turn out fellas.Scandalous I didn't make it being just 20 miles away, but it was the only free weekend for me for a month so I spent it servicing the motor.
Here's hoping I make the next one.
Any more pics?

Great day for me, felt a bit bad leading the fosse cruise and losing 3 cars two miles from the Toby...

I had to scoot early due to parental duties! Bring on the summer & some more meets!
