My electric aerial has not worked since I bought the car. My mate fitted the current radio for me when I bought the car as I am clueless when it comes to wireing. Can any of you tell me if there is something I am missing?

The blue wire is connected and the green wire is not?? (on the left hnd side of the photo)

The electric aerial wire is a white one. It is not part of the main loom. If you cant see it where the radio is, then look behind the glove box.

Cant make out what is what from your pic.
I got a spare aerial from a local zoner to test to see if it was the aerial was working or not. I plugged it in and there was nothing frrom it either. I have pushed the aerial down manually and it there is a lot of resistance from it suggesting the motor is working?

Daft laddy question alert: How do you apply 12V?

Sorry about the crap photo - from phone - I'll go and get another photo on the proper camera. I had gone down three flights of stairs when I remembered I'd left the camera in the flat! Dope!

Have you found the white wire a the glovebox end? This is the aerial control wire, and where the German wiring ends. You will have to look at the instructions for your radio to see which wire to connect to it.
