Got a weird one dudes...

Noticed the coolant warning light on the check control panel was on this morning on the way to work. Parked up and checked the level and it had dropped very very slightly. Not enough to warrant a warning on the check control I would have thought. Put a wee bit water in and all was fine. Driving at lunchtime, light came back on. Checked the level, which this time had risen a wee bit past maximum ( not much though ). Driving home tonight, not warning light on at all. Temp guage all day was reading normal. No funny noises or gunge on filler cap / coolant cap. I've just 4 weeks ago replaced the coolant level sensor for a brand new one, so I'm assuming it's not that.

Mabye I'm being a bit paranoid, but better to ask !!!

Cheers

Hej johnono,

I thought I put it on the same as I took the old one off but I'll recheck. Everything's been OK today so fingers crossed !!

Mine started doing that this week and all the levels are fine, you might have a poor connection or dodgy wiring.I know they are sensitive to resistance changes.

Aye, just a wee bit though. Our IT team support a Danish customer who have places in Vipperoed, Virum, Vaerlose, Holbeck and Randers. That's as far as my Danish goes. Apart form Lars Ulrich and Calsberg that is lol.
