What's this about?

The check control coolant light came on tonight on my way home, and the heater now only blows cold air but the temperature gauge reads more or less normal. I topped the coolant up on Saturday so barring a leak it should be ok. Ring any bells?

Airlock?, how much had it lost when you topped it up on saturday? have you had previous issues with cooling system?

It hadn't really lost much at all, I put a very small amount in. I've never had any previous problems with the cooling system.

All you can do is try bleeding the system, do n't forget to turn the heater dial to max and allow the engine to warm up before trying to bleed from the thermostat housing.
