I don't find it amusing when junk threads are spammed across the forum. In comparison, this is a VERY easy going forum, many internet forums are regimented. The forums seem to be getting more and more junk posted on them and quite frankly I'm getting sick of clearing it all up. It doesn't take much common sense to post in the correct section for example.

In this instance I will hold my hands up and apologise, the IP that came up was for several users one of which is a wind up merchant. I still have my reservations though.

Also, for the record, mods cannot ban people, only admin staff so if I decide to rid someone of the site I'm well within my rights to do so.

i believe the exact phrasing was "adam overstepped the mark"
im admin an mod on several forums and bannings are ALWAYS a group decision.
but thats old news, let bygones................... etc, i got no beef with u.
i just think (my personal view) is that sometimes m8 ur a bit overzealous, and jump in with both feet where others are more easy going. This is after all a nice community site.
for example that thread earlier bout the meet, yeah it was in the wrong place but it wasnt doing any real harm.

easier to lock it in the first place.

plus it was the second tiime it happened, with a day or two as well.

this is a very open site, especially compared to the bmw car club forum. he locked it once with a reasoon, then got a bit more serious the second time whent the exact same thing happened. now i think that is fairly reasonable. now i don't want to get on anybody's side here, and i don;t want to get in the way of what the two of you wish to discuss etc.
