when i bought my 318, i bought it without a log book.
i got it off a zoner and its been the property of another zoner in its past too.
how do i go about getting a new log book? what do i need to do?

Fill out an application form for the dvla and send it to them, the form will be available from the post office at a guess. Have a look on their website.

phone them up and tell them you have bought the car and the previous ower has lost the log book and you want to change the details of ownership and you my be lucky and get one for free if you dont ring up again and hope you get someone else.
