Guys, I need definate attendees for this Sunday.
We have ten spaces, and it would look bad for the zone having a partially filled stand.
Here's some more info' on the show:
It is now less than a week till Cars on the Green 2010.
To follow are a few requests/instructions, hopefully this wont sound too unreasonable but we need to say them to make sure that we avoid anything happening that jeopardises the future of the show.
Please consider the local residents when you arrive and depart, it is a 30mph zone all round the green and please try not to spin your wheels on the green itself. Can ICE volume be kept to a reasonable level as this has been something residents surrounding the green have complained about in the past. You may be asked to turn it down if it is felt to be too loud.
This year we have altered the layout of the green to try and give you more space and make arrival and departure quicker. Separate visitor parking will be at the granary which is situated just before the turning to new green and will be signposted once you drive up the hill from the railway bridge.
We have 2 burger vans a pizza stand (with vegetarian option) and an ice cream van in attendance for catering and have a number of local traders in attendance. Unfortunately the autojumble wont be happening, just not enough interest.
All Exhibitors
Please try to bring your printed ticket with you, we will have attendance lists but it will slow down getting everyone in if we have to keep checking names.
If you need to leave early, ask someone from the bury retro ford team to assist you in leaving (we should all be wearing high vis jackets)
Once onto the field you will be asked for your entrance fee (£1), given a raffle ticket and show program (please read to find out raffle and trophy times) and directed to you pitch. Clubs with smaller pitches will be based up on the left hand bank where all clubs were situated last year. The larger clubs will be situated in the central bowl area where all individuals were last year.
This year we would like individuals to carry on past the main entrance to new green and follow the signs round to the far side of the green. There will be an area reserved for all pre booked individual exhibitors so please make sure you tell the club members directing you that you are pre-booked. We will reserve this area until 11am and after that any individual exhibitor can park in there. There is further space for people who just turn up on the day but we cannot guarantee a space for everyone.
Finally
If you have managed to read this far, just to say look forward to seeing you there, have a great day, any problems please come and talk to a bury retro member so we can help. Let’s hope it gets a little warmer.
