My car has had has a steering wobble since I bought it. Really only noticable at 50mph +. I looked at the car a year before I bought it and it had it then. The previous owner had a new rack fitted since then but the wobble is still there.
What are the likely causes?
Steering wobble

Sounds like this has been a problem for a while - is there any uneven tyre ware?
I'd guess the obvious ones like are the wheels balanced and alined properly have already been checked?

Check the wheel balance, mine aren't balanced at it's definitely worst at that speed. A decent shop should spin them up for you for free.

Agree with the above, wheel balance is a common cause, i have this problem a few weeks back where some ice had frozen on the inside of my rim. Knocked it off and it was fine again, but above 50ish it was bone rattling!

Universal spacers are they for after market wheels? Mine has orginal 15" BBS.
No noticable wobble below 30mph. Steadly gets worse the faster you go. Doesn't pull to one side. The steering wheel just kinda of wobbles in the middle.
They are newish tyres (ditch finders) fitted by previous owners. Not sure if they have been balanced. Will get them balanced, see if that helps.
