I've recently bought a set of Hartge 16" wheels and I'm lookinjg to buy new centre caps. I have contacted Hartge in Germany and they need the serial number of the caps to process the order. I have some caps but they have told me that they don't match the wheels :?.

Could someone with Hartge wheels please tell me the serial number of their caps? There should be an 8 digit number which apparently begins with 36...

Any help appreciated! :thumb:

:? That is the number I gave her and apparently it isn't right...

Is the serial number for your 16" Hartges H6754031?

And only 3 sets left in germany before they go NLA. sit down when you get a quote

Edit: does the wheel have a thread in the wheel behind where the centre cap goes?

They gave me a quote before and it didn't seem too bad, unless they have changed the price... 8O

But £ is stronger than € (just). How can it get more expensive?

I ordered some last month. I wouldn't consider over £200 cheap for centrecaps

I know what you mean: they are expensive for what they are...

They don't have a thread behind.

Well I was very lucky and managed to buy one of the last sets of Hartge centre caps from Hartge Germany 8O . They really weren't cheap but they'll really set the wheels off nicely once refurbed.

Thanks for all the advice and help! As soon as I have photos of them fitted to the car I'll post them up.

Does anyone have any damaged centre caps they don't need anymore?
:D
2 of my 4 have broken tabs on the back ( those of you with Hartges know what I am talking about)
:x :x
I am looking at an alternate method of attaching them once the tabs are broken, However I don't want to "modify" one of mine before I know it works.

Small blob of silicon sealer. :D
Just enough to hold them in place, but not enough to stop them coming off when you want them to.
:teehee:
This is why I no longer drive an E30......
