Is there a genuine BMW strut brace for the E30? Lots of after marker ones but is there a pukka BMW part?

not sure about that mate,i don't think they did, but I may be wrong.
Closest you may get will be an Alpina or Hargte one, there are Sparco double ones on the zone shop at the mo which look very similar to the Alpina ones

The factory built racing shells for the Group A touring cars and rally cars didn't have strut braces, but fully welded in rollcages with forward/rearward extensions to the suspension turrets.
I believe the cages were fabricated by Matter (who do a strut brace fornt and rear for E30s)
