Arp do not make m30 bolts all the ones I have seen do not have the shoulder to locate the head on the block

They are available.

also the stud has nothing to do with locating the head, that´s the little dowel placed in the block that does that.

I bought those studs from tcd and they didnt have a shoulder on the stuf to keep the rocker shafts from rotating. Need to get them back out of the box again and see if it realy matters or not...

My mistake it was the shoulders for the rockers and when I spoke to arp direct they said they did not make m30 studs but suppliers might sell studs with similiar dimensions

This is the problem I have come up against:

You can see the shoulder on the standard bolts. I guess the only way around it is to machine up a coller for the stud... If anyone has done this please let me know if it works!

that´s not a good idea,
a 12.9 bolt is nowhere near the right thing for a head stud.

Don´t put yourself into trouble if you don´t need to.

No, get ARP studs.

Suck it up and buy them , they are a must for some real torque.

I did forget that you can boost M30´s to about 370lbs torque without problems on the stock headbolts.

Where have you been sourcing injectors?
Might be able to score those on ebay.com from a Ford V8
