................all week, the result being i havn't driven the BM,tonight I needed to get the dog to the vets a bit sharpish, and was reminded all over again why I love my car so much.

So found me keys, jumped in the ole girl and set off......
Felt quick as fook, sound the biz and I got to the vets on time.
It felt good to have a break from the car so as to reinstate that feel good feeling of driving and listening to the sweet six scream it's fine music and remind of why i like the E30 so much.

Anyone else get this?

Even my 320i feels quick after driving around Salisbury plain all week in 30 tonne warrior armoured vehicle, come to think of it even my nissan almera seems quick!!
warrior performance figures
0-60mph never
47-50 mph max speed
1.5 litres of diesel per kilometre (on the road)
3.0 litres of diesel per kilometre (cross country)
similar performance figures to most american cars !!

I'll keep an eye out mate, come to think of it i do see quite a few bikes out there, most of the time its kids ,one of them actually cut me up the other day on a honda step through. Bless him he must have been about ten tears old ,i bet he shat his pants when he saw me behind him. i used to have an old KTM 500 when ilived in Tidworth, it was great having the hole plain as your back garden.

I have to drive about 11miles to get to the Plains, bit of a hassle with the trailer but worth it though, trouble is I make the most of the fact you can ride for miles on the Plains and not so long ago i broke down 8 miles from my car,i hid the bike and had to walk back,in the pitch dark, with the worries of the likes of you driving around in enormous bits of kit and the worries of getting lost!
Fortunatly i didn't get lost or run over but I did end up with blistered feet, and didn;t get home till gone ten in the evening! :x

Walking on the plain in the middle of the night on your own is'nt my idea of fun either. I bat you were thinking of the film 'American werewolf in london' . J Just don't stray of the tracks!! .Anyone under 30 probably hasn't got a clue what i'm on about! You are lucky the fog did'nt come down ,i went out there on friday morning and got lost in broad daylight. Thank god for sidbury hill, its got me home many a time
