Off on a trip to France tomorrow morning and just wondering how much weight (in booze) I can carry safely (without getting the car confiscated by Customs)?

Haven't got a user manual so was hoping someone could look it up for me :)

Cheers :thumb:

P.S: Anyone know about European breakdown cover?

You really going to weigh all your booze? How will you know?

I have filled my boot and a bit on the back seat before and been fine.... E30s are usefull as they are often lowered to the ground so the police wont take that much notice.

In France avoid the like of tesco etc etc as they ain't the cheapest. I like E-lecerc. Has loads of cheap french boooze. The further you get away from calais the cheaper things become.

What out for Jean-pierre in his renault 5 he will always overtake anything with british plates....
