cheers Dan :D

I doubt Fibregash would work, Hartge used a GRP type stuff so it's quite flexible, but still very delicate around the grille area ,
I have had mine repaired using an epoxy resin I know a very good replica is available through USA ebay :D

bit of an update, almost a month since i have done anything on the car

suspension is well under way , fronts are built up ready to go on,
new hub/bearings fitted,
hartge B8's :)
Image
begining to think i should have powdercoated the legs and back plates instead of spraying them !
the lower arms are as new so not replacing them, just a good clean up
the legs can go on as soon as i get the Hartge front ARB back from powdercoating
Image

fitted new bushes to a beam i got and stuck that on,
Image
Image

and it looks shite!!!

a freind of mine had a fully rebuilt /powdercoated rear beam/arms with all new parts, brake pipes, bearings and all new bushes so after a little chat it was rude not to :D

Image

ready to go on,
Image

Image

so when the first beam was removed to make way for the new one I thought it's best to replace all the brakelines even though they are in good order,

T piece came off without a fight

Image

wish i had a bigger garage doing anything on the drivers side is a pain,
Image
check out the axle stands, no sill bending going on here !
Image

I have set myself a goal I think another weekends work will see this old turd on the road , I can't wait for that day :D

Well after a few final checks, the Turd was lowered down to the ground after sitting on axle stands for 3 months?

attached the battery and it fired first turn, :)

first time I have heard it with the full system fitted, the Fritz centrebox combined with the Hartge 6 branch and Tail pipe sounds awesome :D

slowly reversed it out and on to the driveway...

I Fooking love it ! Looks great under.... well almost daylight

I was just about to take it on a steady run up the country lanes ...when it started to rain :(

here's a few rushed pics, hope you like them :D
