Meet 1st May in Oxfordshire midday-ish ox25 5qq

I have been asked to arrange a meet for various clubs/forums. So far E30Zone, 5Forum, CTF, Pistonheads, Retrorides and MBowners will be invited though everyone will be welcome. It's still tentative as yet, so if anyone on here is interested, please let me know. It will be a BBQ based event. It will be at the usual venue so all the same stuff (the car barns etc) will be open.

Oh yeah......Rav335i and I were thinking it might be an idea to ask some of the Vdub guys along? So if anyone knows or has good contacts with some of them......Only thing is I need a deffinate answer as to the number of attendees in order to arrange things properly. There will be a limit also, dictated by the available parking spaces and how much grub we can cook all at once.

Erm, Rob, it was the E21 forum mate, not the Vdub guys, don't know any, but they can atten too.
Be good to do a mix of clubs, maybe it will become a bigger meet, and nned to branch out to a bigger location.
BTW, how many spaces does that yard allow for????

Hi Rich....Sure thing. May is also do-able for us, maybe better weather? It's up for discussion at the moment. One thing is that it will be a bring and BBQ to avoid any of the pitfalls of the last few. I will provide the fires and enough rolls, soda's etc. There is enough space for about 40 cars Rav, but if there are more, then another twenty down at either the barns or my house. so should be enough.

I look after them and prepare them, they are all for sale either through myself or by auction. It's also where I work from since leaving BMW. (well when the weather's crap anyway)

Hi Gortour, always room for you mate.

Right then.......1 May is the date. Start time anytime from 10.30am. Overflow parking will be down at the classic car barns. As I said, I will provide a big BBQ and flames and some salads, potato bake and rolls, you guys need to bring your own meat (though I will have a load of Peri-Peri chicken wings as a snack). The fire will be going all afternoon so no rush to get there as it starts (for those of you who are further away or partied the previous night

).

Any more ideas? You guys want to do a drive out or something?

Oh....we need to get a list going so I can keep on top of things.
